Christmas Party

Saturday was Matt's company's Christmas Party.  It was at the Gaylord Palms hotel in Orlando - swanky!  It's the first time we've been able to go since Matt started working with the company and ironically it will be the last.  His company lost the bid for the next contract so Matt will be working for a different company in the next few months.  Same office, same coworkers, same job essentially, just different company name - at least we hope.

Ice sculpture.  The Gaylord Palms does this really cool thing called ICE! and SNOW! every year.  It's where you can be an exorbitant amount of money to go tubing down snow, play in a winter carnival, and go down slides made of actual ice.  It's really cool from what I hear.  Floridians are desperate.

I love his purple tie.

The VP of the company making an uncomfortable speech.

We got bored with the old man music at the party so decided to walk around the hotel.  This is in the center of the hotel.  Beautiful!

Complete with it's own little grotto to explore.

And what fancy Florida hotel is complete without the random baby alligator pond?

Action shot:  Mid-smack

My brother and soon to be sister-in-law watched the boys at their house for us since they live in Orlando.  Everyone had a great time...  as soon as we got to their apartment it took the boys about 4 minutes flat to tear every piece of ornament off the bottom third of their tree.  The next morning, Eamon woke at 6:45am transformed into his alternate self: BabyZilla.  Those poor college students in the rest of the building must of hated us that morning.  This is Eamon trying to fling himself off the second floor balcony because we were loading the car.  Chris' weird face is because it's 7am and we didn't go to bed until almost 2am and he's trying his best to wrestle BabyZilla from the fiery depths of apartment living hell.  Best form of birth control, ever!!

ps - Krystal said they were putting their groceries away the next morning and found ornaments in the fridge.  :::Christmas trees everywhere shudder:::
