Ocala
Sunday afternoon we visited Grandpa Raines and Grandma Betty in Ocala. This was the first time they got to meet Eamon (we promise to come up more often!). Grandma Betty had "Jack-proofed" the house before we got there. Everything went rather well and Jack had a wonderful time with his Great Grandparents. Thanks for having us!

Meeting of the minds
This picture is so cute! Look at Eamon smiling through the window. I haven't a clue about what he's so happy about. Jack is just hot.
Testing out Grandma's bed. Yup, it's a bed. Good work, Grandma.
Checking out the haps in the Ocala toddler scene.
My attempt at a timed family picture. My giant head is blocking Betty! Sorry everyone.
"Wook with you eye" = Look with your eyes, no touching
This is just adorable!
A little impromptu brotherly love

How did he know exactly what to do with that pillow? He truly is a Raines Man
Aww, so sweet

My Little Fish
So we're almost to the end of swimming lessons. The first class we took was great and the rest have been pretty harsh. Mostly screaming, crying, and clawing at me for the duration of the class. For some reason he hated going underwater - but only during the structured class time. When we go to a friend's pool or in the same darn pool that the swim lessons are in just not during class, he's fine. Even enjoys it! He can dive under the water in the shallow end and grab a toy off the bottom. When I dunk him under the water he will kick his feet and sort of paddle his arms. He's getting the hang of it! Just today was the first time since the very first class that he didn't scream for half of it. YAY!
So here's a pic they took during class. He's holding "SPACEMAN" in his hands. Sorry it's so small. You can see a bigger version of it on my Facebook page.

Has it been 5 years already?!
Seems like forever ago... seems like just yesterday. We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary this past Saturday. We had a great time. Mimi and Poppy watched the boys and partied all night long while Matt and I went out to dinner. This is the first time we've been out together - ALONE - in 9 months! First, we stopped in Coasters for a pre-dinner beer and onion rings. Next, 2 words - sushi boat. Last, hanging out with great friends for a while. I'm willing to wait another 9 months if we have another night as great as this one.
And now a trip in the Way Back machine...

I look a lot more cool, calm and collected, don't you think??
Matt forgot he was getting married and had to say things. So funny, har har har

Thank goodness that's over!
I first saw The Baughman Center on campus my first week of classes while on the bus. I said to myself, "If I meet my husband here at college, I'm getting married there." And I did.
Just had to get a picture in of my flowers because I loved them so much and I miss them.

The whole wedding party at the reception center. Look carefully at Peter, Steven and my brother Chris in the back. They are having TONS of fun.
The beyond beautiful Sweetwater Branch Inn
Our cake rocked... and so does frosting up the nostril
I also wanna give a shout out to Mary Catherine and Jim Raines for celebrating their 30-and-change wedding anniversary on the 17th!! You guys are the best!!!
Last but not least... Here's what we came home to after our night on the town:

Mimi & Poppy Visit
Jack's favorite way to spend the weekend... visiting with family! Mary & Jim came to Florida this weekend. Unfortunately, I only took photos of their visit while we were at the zoo. I could've sworn I took some pics during our evening beach walk on Friday. Oh well, I got some good zoo pics that should make up for it.
WARNING!!! THIS POST CONTAINS PICTURES AND VIDEOS OF BIRDS. IF YOU HAVE A PARTICULAR AVERSION TO BIRDS - YOU MIGHT WANT TO SKIP THE VIDEOS AT THE END! THIS PERSON SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS, BUT THE PERSON I'M THINKING OF IS A GREAT GRANDMOTHER, HAS SHORT HAIR, AND NAME STARTS WITH A G. TOTALLY NOT NAMING ANYONE SPECIFIC.
Turtle family
Eamon's new outfit. Should fit him for another couple of weeks. How cute is that hat?!
The 2 outside giraffes are sisters and the one in the middle is named Stephanie and is a week younger than Jack
Do you think they still look alike?
Is that not a look of pure joy on Mimi's face? NOTICE the black tongue. I would like Target toy manufacturers to take special note of the coloring. It's not red.
She ate all the crackers. Did you know that crackers are not native to the giraffes diet? DUH!! They live in AFRICA and leaves grow on trees, not crackers. There are some dumb people at the zoo.
Family time at the zoo
Not too sure about this bird. It's called a Lorakeet
Alright, feeling better.
Got some pics of the butterfly exhibit. This is half Gatorade and half water to attract them.
Ooohhh, caterpillar
I think Poppy fed the deer fish food. He didn't seem to care (and neither did the deer)
Cooling down with an ice pop in front of the River Otter tank
Peek a boo! This is only the 2nd time I've ever seen the otter.
He's swimming
2 hot and sweaty guys
Jack and the Pygmy Marmoset bonding. I always knew he was part monkey!
Trying to eat Jack's apple. It was so adorable!!
Poppy after the zoo. Grandchildren are exhausting.
