2010

New year, new things happening. First off, Eamon is rolling over! He actually rolled over at Mary & Jim's house and Mary, Emily, Michael, Matt, Jack and I were all there to witness and cheer for him. Now he is a rolling over fool. You put him on his back, turn around, and he's on his belly. His huge noggin is still a little heavy for him to hold up that long so he ends up with his face in the carpet (and usually some spitup, too). He is feeling sooo much better these days in regards to the reflux. His medicine works great and as long as I eat a consistent diet of no diary, certain veggies and beans - he's A-OK. Take a look at my baby...

Of course, Thomas in the background. Eamon's first word is going to be Thomas.

Happy baby

Swimming

Jack frantically jumping away from his brother. "OMG he touched me!"

I think Eamon got this from me. All four fingers in his mouth. Sometimes he sucks on his thumb, but usually he prefers the whole hand. Occasionally he gags himself with his own fingers.

Here's a video of Eamon rolling over. The earthquake is when Jack decided to tackle me from behind. And I'm not 100% sure Eamon rolled over on his own.. Jack's foot was very close to his butt. But he's definitely rolling over on his own now. And just today he rolled from front to back! My little muscle man.

Crazy thing happened the other day... it snowed!! Technically, at my house we got "ice pellets" which pretty much looked like hail. A couple of friends of mine who were live more inland got actual snow flurries! And here I thought I left all that cold weather behind me in the Midwest. It has been so so so cold out. When we leave to go out in the morning, it's about 36 degrees. My poor Florida babies!
