Play Plus and Birthday Party
It is beastly hot. If you're not in the ocean or at the pool, you're not outside. Jack asks to go outside and then 10 minutes later wants to come right back in. I moved a few of his outdoor toys back inside just so he can have some fun stuff to play with while we're stuck in the house. Our summer is like a northern winter. I still love it here.
So on Thursday we went to Play Plus. You've seen me blog about it before. We love it there. This time was special. It was the first time Eamon could play! All the other times he'd be napping in my carrier, but now he's a (sort of) big boy and can hang with the rest of the kids.

Everyone laughed when I said I was raising him to be a chef. Spatula and hand mixer... a pastry chef perhaps?

The next day he learned how to climb up the slide at home. I should tie him to a chair.

Then Friday morning we had another birthday party to go to. Actually, it was a double birthday party for some adorable babies turning 1. There was a bug hunt, and a lake with ducks and tadpoles, pine cones, and cupcakes. What more could Jack ask for??
