North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Southport Ferry
What a cute place to spend a rainy afternoon. It's small, but the tanks are amazing. I especially loved the sea horses and jelly fish. The staff was interactive and nice. I'd definitely recommend a trip there with the family.
Checking out the box turtle. I know they say turtles are slow, but that thing really motored!
albino alligator named Luna
Getting up close and personal
Serious scientific inquiry into alligator feeding
fish tank
Huge hermit crab?
Starfish. He even knows the sign!
Of course when I take the pic there are no fish actually swimming behind them. Doh
These lucky employees were cleaning the reef with toothbrushes. The aquarium glass really makes your butt look big

(PS - that's my new Didymos Linen size 6 wrap in Marigold. Beautiful, isnt it?)
tiny jellyfish
He loves frogs
Yes, he climbed all the way to the top.
Then on the way back from the aquarium we took the Southport Ferry. We had to wait 30 minutes in the car to catch it, but the boys had fun.
Maxin' relaxin' in Eamon's car seat
Driving onto the ferry. Nice beach weather, huh?
So he wears his pajama bottoms as pants. So what? Who are you, the pajama police??
over there!
Family shot. Thank you, kind Ferry Passenger
My cutie checking out the birds
